Sign language

This term our inquiry is all about the three significant languages of New Zealand. We learnt how to say the alphabet in sign language and had to spell our name in sign.

Tsunami

For the past two weeks we have been learning about the different types of natural disasters. Natural disasters can change our landscape to the way we see it today. Tsunamis are one of the worst natural disasters that happens around the world.

Rm 12 Rules

In room 12 if you break these rules then you pay 50 cents.  At the end of the term we count all the money and that will go towards our end of term shared lunch.

Holes

This past weeks we have been reading holes by Louis Sacher we have finished reading the whole book and are going to watch the movie on the last day of school.

T-shirt art

In term 1 we created t-shirts based on yourself. We created drawings on who we are as a person and what we enjoy. We used Indian ink, dye, paint or pastels to create our awesome t-shirts.

Tuna pasta

Miss Siale told us about her famous tuna pasta. She told us the instructions and we had to take notes. We then created a poster using google drawing on  how to create this masterpiece.

Brownie in a mug

                                                             

       For writing we watched a video on how to make brownie in a mug. We then created a poster using google drawing and using the form of procedural writing

Mothers day Letter

This term we made a gift for mothers day. We took the first letter of our mothers name and made it in 3D form we then decided if we wanted to surprised our moms then we could put in a little treat for them.
